Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy

Muẚṣarah: Jurnal Kajian Islam Kontemporer permits the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-assisted technologies to improve language quality, readability, and manuscript organization. However, authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of all submitted and published work.

AI tools must not be used to generate or fabricate research data, manipulate research findings, create false citations or references, or replace the authors' scholarly analysis and critical judgment.

If AI-assisted technologies are used beyond basic language editing, authors should disclose their use in the manuscript. Artificial Intelligence tools cannot be listed as authors or co-authors because they cannot assume responsibility for the content of scholarly publications.

Editors and reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and should not upload unpublished manuscripts to public AI platforms during the editorial or peer-review process.
