Al-Adzka: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal focusing on elementary and Islamic primary education across diverse educational contexts. Its scope encompasses context-responsive pedagogy and instructional innovation, teacher education and professionalism, and holistic student development and learning experiences. The journal welcomes rigorous empirical studies, systematic reviews, scoping reviews, and meta-analyses that connect evidence from local contexts with broader scholarly debates and make substantive contributions beyond a single institution or location.
Al-Adzka: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah is published by the Department of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, UIN Antasari Banjarmasin, in collaboration with the Indonesian Islamic Elementary Education Lecturers Association (PD-PGMI Indonesia), the Indonesian PGMI Journal Management Association (PPJ-PGMI Indonesia), and the Association of Islamic Education Lecturers in Indonesia (PDTII). Al-Adzka publishes two issues per year, in June and December. Accepted articles may be published online on an article-by-article basis before the completion of each issue. Al-Adzka: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah has been accredited SINTA 3 on December 30th, 2022, by the Indonesia Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education (RistekDikti) of The Republic of Indonesia as SK Dirjen No. 230/E/KPT/2022) and certified and effective until 2026.
Al-Adzka invites high-quality manuscripts on pedagogy, teacher education, and student development in elementary and Islamic primary education. First-stage editorial selection begins on the 15th of every month.
